When you recommend a friend who is currently using oil, electricity or solid fuel, we’ll top up both your and your friend’s Calor Accounts with £75 worth of gas.* To help us identify that it was you who referred your friend to us, please let your friend know your Calor Account Number.

How does it work?

    We’ll give you a call, provide an initial quote and arrange to look at your property at a time that suits

    We'll provide a site plan for your home, then our expert engineers will pop over to install your tank

  • 4 - £75 Gas Credit

    When you receive your first gas fill, we’ll top up yours’ and your friend’s Calor accounts with £75*

Terms & Conditions

  1. Participants in the scheme (“Participants”) must be UK residents aged 18 or over.
  2. The scheme is not open to employees or anyone connected with the Promoter, or with the scheme.
  3. To enter the scheme, the Recommended Customer must, visit https://www.calor.co.uk/home-energy/using-lpg/calor-customer/recommend-a-friend and complete their details together with the Calor customer account number of the Recommender.
  4. By entering the scheme, Participants consent to having their details stored by the Promoter for the purpose of administering the scheme.
  5. The scheme shall only apply when the Recommended Customer switches from an alternative fuel other than LPG and the Recommended Customer must become a domestic bulk gas customer of Calor.
  6. Eligibility:
    1. The scheme is open to Recommenders and Recommended Customers resident in England, Scotland or Wales.
    2. The scheme is only applicable to domestic customer receiving Bulk LPG supply.
    3. Credit will not be given if the Recommended Customer referred is already being supplied with LPG by Calor or an alternative supplier, even if the Recommended Customer’s existing product/tariff with the alternative supplier is coming to an end and being renewed.
    4. Recommenders must be Existing Customers of Calor. The Recommended Customer must not already be a customer, already on supply with Calor.
    5. A claim under this Recommend a Friend scheme cannot be claimed retrospectively and will therefore not be credited to either account.
    6. If the Recommended Customer cancels their agreement before the supply start date, this will result in cancellation of both the Recommender and Recommended Customers Credit.
    7. Calor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Recommenders and Recommended Customers, and require proof of eligibility.
    8. Business customers are not currently eligible to participate in this scheme.
    9. Cylinder customers are not currently eligible to participate in this scheme.
    10. Any referral where both the Recommender and the Recommended Customer live at the same address will not be processed and no Credit provided.
    11. Existing Customers are only eligible to receive Credit under the scheme on a maximum of 2 occasions in any one calendar year (the maximum Credit any Existing Customer can receive in any one year is, therefore, £150).
    12. Existing Customers must not publicise their Calor customer account number or other customer details online or via any voucher code websites and failure to adhere to this requirement may mean that the Existing Customer shall be excluded from the scheme and not be entitled to Credit.
    13. It is the responsibility of the Recommended Customer to check any existing arrangements he/she may have with respect to any existing fuel supply before entering into any contract for the supply of LPG from Calor.
  7. Credits will be issued to the Recommender and Recommended Customer’s Calor account on or shortly after the Recommended Customer’s supply start date. This is usually 21 days after the sign-up date.
  8. The offer of £75 gas credit refers to £75 worth of credit being added to the Recommender and Recommended Customer’s domestic bulk gas account to be used towards gas or standing charges.
  9. No cash alternative is available.
  10. If the gas credit is not used before exiting the bulk contract, then no cash alternative will be offered.
  11. In the event of unforeseen circumstances Calor reserves the right to alter this offer and offer a substitute of equal or greater value.
  12. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion of Calor.
  13. Promotion of Recommender:
    1. We have a zero-tolerance spam policy. Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other promotion of a Recommender in a manner that would constitute or appear to constitute unsolicited commercial email or spam is expressly prohibited.
    2. Where the Recommender chooses to send and promote Recommend a Friend by email then they are the actual sender of the emails and must comply with applicable law. A Recommender who does not comply with the law, including anti-spam laws shall indemnify Calor against any liabilities, costs and expenses it incurs as a result of such spam.
    3. You must make it clear when recommending someone that this is a personal recommendation and that you do not represent Calor or any Calor employee when promoting Recommend a Friend.
  14. Calor’s Rights and Discretions:
    1. Calor may refuse to verify and process any transaction Calor deems, in its sole discretion, to be fraudulent, suspicious, in violation of these terms, or believes will impose liability on Calor, its subsidiaries, affiliates or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents. Calor reserves the right to delay issuing any Credit whilst making an investigation in relation to this clause.
    2. Any decision by Calor in respect of whether or not a Recommender or Recommended Customer is entitled to Credit shall be final and is binding.
    3. Calor reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate the scheme at any time without prior notice.
    4. Calor is not responsible for failure to issue Credit resulting from an incorrectly completed form by the Recommended Customer.
