In its fourth year, the Calor Rural Community Fund is bigger than ever. We’re giving away £85,000 - our biggest prize pot yet! And with over 600 projects in the running, they’re going to need your support more than ever to get them through to the finals.

The ins and outs of supporting a project
The projects have done their part identifying a need within their communities, now it’s your turn. Get your fingers at the ready and start showing your support.
It’s simple, head to our website and show your support by hitting ‘like’ or ‘share’ on a project you love the sound of. Every project will receive 1 point for your 'Like' and 1 point for your 'Share'. Don't forget, you’re not limited to supporting just one project – you can help as many as you like.
It’s important to click 'Share' from the Rural Community Fund project page (this will take you to your social media to publish), rather than re-sharing somebody else’s shared post on social media; only then will it count towards the project's points. If you are feeling generous and would like to donate to a chosen project, it will be awarded 10 points per pledge.
Once the Public Support stage has closed, those with the most public support points in each funding category will make it through to the finalist stage. Finalists will then be scored by a panel of impartial judges who will select the winners.
The prizes
This year’s prizes will be broken down as follows: 5 x £1,000, 6 x £2,500, 11 x £5,000.
We’re also giving £500 to all 21 of the remaining finalists who don’t win one of the main prizes. Don’t miss out on the chance to show support to the projects you love and help them into the final stage.

• Public supporting: 4th June – 16th July
• Finalists announced: 4th August
• Judging day: 12th August
• Winners announced: 19th August
Getting involved is easy and fun. Simply register or log in to your account, show your support by liking, sharing or pledging on a project(s) and watch as your favourite projects move up the leader board.
You have until 5pm on 16th July to show your support. Like, share or pledge on one project or support a few, the choice is yours. It’s now down to you to help our worthy rural community projects make it through to the judging round.
