What to expect

Life at Calor

We’ve got a host of jobs for ex military people. And when you work with us, you can expect more than just a salary. We’ll invest in your future. We’ll help you hone your skills and gain new ones.

A grid made up of 2,000 team members and over 1,000 vehicles, all making sure over 100,000 customers get the service they expect.

What our ex military colleagues say

From the British Army to Calor

“I went off to do training for the British Army the day after my 17th birthday and served for 11 years. After the army, I wanted a trade so trained to be an engineer through the resettlement programme. Now I’m happy to be serving Calor customers as a gas engineer and have done for the past 7 years. I enjoy the variety that comes with the job and couldn’t see myself working anywhere else. I love helping people and I’ll always take the time to speak to our customers. There may be someone who hasn’t seen someone for months on end, especially during Covid. It’s a really nice side of the job – simply to have a chat with our customers.”
