With LPG emitting less carbon than oil, solid fuel or electricity*, CERT (Carbon Emmission Reduction Target) funding has put a grant scheme in place, where if a homeowner switches to a greener, efficient LPG central heating system they could qualify for a £800 contribution towards installation costs**.
So, if your rural customers are using oil, solid fuel or electricity to heat their homes, it could be worthwhile recommending a new LPG installation.
