For areas where customers or employees may prefer warm air, Calor LPG powered warm air heating can provide a solution. Warm air heating systems can be used for heating only, heating and ventilation, heating and cooling or to provide summer ventilation. There are two types of warm air systems: direct-fired and indirect-fired.
» Direct fired warm air heating
Direct-fired heaters are over 90% efficient with heat discharge either through directional grills or via ducting.
This highly efficient method is ideal for locations that have high ventilation rates.
Direct-fired systems are also available as combined heating and ventilation systems. This means that the same system can be used for warming or cooling, to suit the occupants and activities taking place in the building.
» Indirect fired warm air heating
Indirect-fired heaters give an easily controlled, fast response.
They require flues and are ideally suited to modern, well-sealed buildings with low air change rates.
They can also be used as a warm air curtain.
