Outdoor dining is no longer restricted to your garden with the versatile Cadac CarriChef Deluxe Combo barbecue. This ultra-compact addition to Calor’s popular range of portable gas barbecues is light enough to be carried anywhere yet offers outstanding performance. It boasts four interchangeable cooking surfaces: the BBQ, Skottel-wok, non-stick reversible griddle and dome lid, meaning you can boil, bake, grill, roast, fry, stir-fry and barbecue anywhere, anytime.

The barbecue operates with a simple push-button ‘Piezo’ ignition and features a 3-position gas control to manage the cooking temperature. For hassle-free transportation and storage the barbecue’s lightweight aluminium legs are detachable and can be stored with the main unit in one handy bag. The barbecue also includes a convenient storage tray and a pot stand for boiling water, and each one comes with a free full-colour recipe book to give you hints and tips for the perfect alfresco experience.

The new Table Top Patio Heater, from Calor’s range of outdoor heaters, combines style with convenience and is an ideal solution for outdoor dining on chilly evenings, with its table-top position ensuring an even distribution of heat to everyone seated. The stainless steel body with aluminium reflector canopy providesunbeatable weather resistance and durability and is fitted with a convenient, variable heat control with simple ‘Piezo’ ignition.

The heater is fitted with a number of safety devices to minimise hazards: a ‘Flame Failure’ mechanism and an anti-tilt switch which automatically shuts off the gas supply, a weighted base to reduce the risk of tip over and protective chrome wire guard. The regulator and gas hose is fitted with a snap connector for easy disconnection from the Patio Gas™ cylinder.

Calor patio heaters and gas barbecues are for outdoor use only and special care should be taken when using the equipment or connecting/disconnecting a Calor gas cylinder (for a guide to fitting cylinders please contact Calor free on 0800 121 4461). Calor gas cylinders should always be stored outdoors in an upright position and should not be placed directly under a barbecue when in use.

Patio Gas™ comes in two sizes: 5kg and 13kg, and both use the same 27mm easy fit clip-on regulator which is compatible with most outdoor appliances.

All Patio Gas™ cylinders come fitted with ‘Gas Trac’ ® a new device which warns customers when they are running low on gas so that they can plan ahead when buying refills. This is only a visual check and, as with all gas appliances, patio heaters and barbecues should be serviced regularly by a fully qualified and competent CORGI engineer.

Calor is actively involved in fundraising for ChildLine, the UK's free, 24-hour helpline for children. Calor's Gift of the Gas campaign successfully raised £50,000 for the charity in 2005 through a 'cylinder retrieval' scheme where Calor donated £5 for every unwanted Calor gas cylinder returned to a Calor Gas Direct outlet. Calor have now pledged to continue the scheme until 31 December 2006, which will enable ChildLine to answer more children calling 0800 1111 in danger or distress.
