The stylish Royal Choice 3 Roaster is one of the latest additions to Calor’s popular Royal barbecue range. The timber frame blends into any garden setting and is mounted on wheels and castors for increased portability. It features a rust-proof, porcelain enamel, roaster-style lid with an innovative in-built heat indicator and a porcelain coated grill and griddle for guaranteed long life and ease of maintenance.

This model boasts three burners plus an additional side burner, all with simple push-button ‘piezo’ ignition (also available in 2 or 4 burner options). It comes ready stocked with long-lasting ceramic briquettes which produce an even heat distribution and reduce the risk of flare-ups during cooking. There is also a convenient, rebated timber, side table.

The Royal Choice 3 Roaster barbecue operates on Patio Gas 13kg propane, which is available from Calor retailers.

Calor patio heaters and gas barbecues are for outdoor use only and special care should be taken when using the equipment or connecting/disconnecting a Calor gas cylinder (for a guide to fitting cylinders please contact Calor on 0800 121 4461). Calor gas cylinders should always be stored outdoors in an upright position and should not be placed directly under a barbecue when in use.

Patio Gas comes in two sizes: 5kg and 13kg, and both use the same 27mm easy fit clip-on regulator which is compatible with most outdoor appliances.

All Patio Gas cylinders™ come fitted with ‘Gas Trac’ ® a new device which warns customers when they are running low on gas so that they can plan ahead when buying refills. To give the customer reassurance that their patio heater or gas barbecue is working efficiently and to highlight any visible defects, Calor Alfresco offers a FREE appliance health check where an inspection is carried out by a Calor Gas Direct outlet. This is only a visual check and, as with all gas appliances, patio heaters and barbecues should be serviced regularly by a fully qualified and competent CORGI engineer.
