Gift of the Gas

Calor is actively involved in fundraising for ChildLine, the UK's free, 24-hour helpline for children. Calor's Gift of the Gas campaign has successfully raised over £67,000 for the charity since 2005 through a 'cylinder retrieval' scheme where Calor donated £5 for every unwanted Calor gas cylinder returned to a Calor Gas Direct outlet. Calor has now pledged to continue the scheme until 31 December 2007, which will enable ChildLine to answer more children calling 0800 1111 in danger or distress. The company’s target is to reach £100,000 by the end of 2007.
