Visitors to Calor’s stand at this year’s Cereals 2006 exhibition will all get the chance to enter a free prize draw to win a digital camera or a Fortnum and Masons hamper.
The UK’s leading supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will be using the show, which takes place on 14 and 15 June at Nocton, Lincolnshire, to gather information for a national industry survey. Everyone who takes part will also be entered into the free prize draw.
Alongside its survey, Calor will be demonstrating the benefits of using LPG within the farming industry. Calor has a 70-year relationship with the farming community, supplying fuel to power equipment on farms and to bring gas to rural communities who do not have access to a mains supply.
This year’s exhibition will see Calor emphasise how it can provide cost-effective and viable solutions for the farming industry whether it be crop drying, heating or fuel for ATVs or other farming equipment needed to make business a success.
A reliable power supply is essential in any business, but Calor understands that for cereal farmers it can make the difference between ending the year with profits or losses if the supply is not constant.
Using Calor LPG with mobile or static dryers ensures reliable, controllable and precise moisture content and optimum drying temperatures are easily maintained. Crops such as wheat, maize, barley, rape, peas, potatoes, bulbs and onions can all be dried economically and efficiently with Calor LPG.
Calor’s Commercial Market Manager, Sabrina Jackson, said the company’s LPG experience and knowledge continues to lead the field: “Our technical expertise, large distribution network and reliability has enabled us to build strong relationships with rural communities, particularly within the farming industry.
“LPG is a cleaner burning fuel and can be used in the most sensitive of areas. It offers a reliable fuel source for agricultural, catering, heating and water heating applications.”
Visitors can find the Calor stand at Cereals 2006 at stand 522.
