Calor is lending its support to CORGI by sponsoring a series of regional CORGI workshop seminars to introduce gas professionals to the benefits of LPG. Held at football grounds across the UK, the free sessions are targeted at registered installers and will run throughout the year.
Promoting the benefits of non-mains-gas fuel over other alternative fuels such as oil, the CORGI sessions are being attended by Calor, which has a stand at each venue staffed by local Calor LPG specialists. Installers can find information and literature on LPG tank storage options, tank access, cylinders and telemetry. The Calor representatives will be on hand to answer questions and advise on LPG applications and appliances.
Topics up for discussion at the CORGI installer seminars include recent industry and legislative changes, such as the unsafe situations procedure, gas work notification and self-certification (including Part L exemptions).
Rachel Hodge, market development manager for Calor said: “The day-to-day issues discussed at the seminars are very important to installers and their professional development. The sessions will offer an ideal opportunity for installers to gain access to individual help and guidance from the industry watchdog as well as information from Calor about LPG, which is securing a growing share of the domestic market.”
To book a place on one of the CORGI regional seminars, call 0870 401 2700. Sessions will be held in both the morning (10am) and the afternoon (1pm).
