The Boston Sets Cost Effective Temperatures
to Heat the Home

The Boston Sets Cost Effective Temperatures As the leaves turn golden and begin to fall and chilly days and nights start to draw in, many households across the UK face the dilemma of whether to switch the heating back on or look for an alternative, cost-effective solution as an interim measure.

Calor’s new product, the Boston, has been designed to meet such demand. Ideal for either a contemporary or traditional setting, this compact portable heater provides variable and controllable heat just where you want it, when you need it.

Retailing at £299 (RRP) the Boston is small, grand, metallic black in colour, will look good in any room of the house* and is totally portable. This lightweight heater has a heat input of 2.4kW making it an ideal on the spot heating solution for kitchens, conservatories and sitting rooms.

Andrea Price, consumer market manager from Calor comments: “Energy efficiency is always high on the agenda but more so in the winter. Investing in a portable gas fired stove such as the Boston means there will be no need to turn the heating on just yet but simply wheel the warmth to where you need it.

“As we head into the coldest months of winter, the Boston is perfect for supplementing existing heating in drafty rooms. It really is an invaluable addition to the household.”

The Boston boasts a safety device to stop the flow of gas to the heater if the flame fails to light or if the percentage of carbon dioxide in the air exceeds 1.5 per cent. Powered by a 7kg of Calor Gas (neatly concealed inside the heater), the Boston will run for approximately 40 hours depending on the setting. Calor gas cylinders can be purchased on a pay-as-you-go basis. For extra convenience, gas can also be delivered direct to your home.

Calor Gas cylinders / bottles and a wide range of heaters in differing styles and prices are available through Calor Gas Direct by simply calling freephone 0800 662 663 or ordering online from www.calorheatershop.co.uk.
