Jubilee Woods

The Woodland Trust is giving everyone across the UK the chance to be part of something big and come together to help transform communities for future generations by helping to plant a million trees in February 2012.

The UKs leading woodland conservation charity has set itself the ambitious task of planting a million trees in a month in February 2012 to celebrate The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and celebrate her accession to the throne, part of a year of tree planting that will see 6 million trees planted across the UK in 2012 as part of the Trust’s Jubilee Woods project.

The Calor Wood

Calor’s Stoney site became a hive of tree-planting activity in March 2011, when Midlands-based staff, their families and local school children joined together with the aim of planting a total of 2,500 trees in the creation of the Calor Wood.
