Unauthorised tampering leads to prosecution

Calor Gas Ltd welcomes the prosecution by the Health & Safety Executive of a director of Suffix Pre-cast Ltd in Totton for not having sufficient knowledge of the hazards of working with propane gas which led to one of his employees suffering burns.

The risks of the work had not been assessed and no information, instruction or training had been passed to the employee.

Energy Minister visits Exeter Energy Centre

On Monday 30th April 2012, Calor welcomed Greg Barker, Minister of State for Climate Change to its flagship Energy Centre.

Opened in Exeter, on Alphinbrook Road, Marsh Barton in November 2011, the Energy Centre is the first of a new type of energy retail outlet; a pilot for Calor Gas and a first for any rural energy supplier.
